The low pressure system that brought the unsettled weather of late will exit the area early this morning, although scattered snow showers will linger over the mountains of Colorado today. Another disturbance seen off the Pacific Northwest Coast will push through Thursday and Thursday night bringing another round of precipitation, including several inches of mountain snowfall. Temperatures will be well below normal the next two days, with freeze warnings for central and southern sections of the region where the growing season has already begun. An extended period of unsettled weather is expected Saturday through early next week, with rain, snow, and windy conditions at times. (Please visit http://weather.gov/gjt for more information.)
