Nice steeps on Kaloko! Did you beat Susan Dell to top? she rules that road!! Hope to see you at resort or on Queen K this week!
Great cover (and inside shots) on the new Outside Magazine!!
I went for a walk in the Cloud Forest off of Kaloko on the 1st! :)
Hey you know Ustain Bolt has got himself those Jamacian Yams, and look where it's got him. Maybe you should try some of those Hawaiian Pinapples? Or maybe it's just the Texas water.
Congrats I literally live a mile down the mountain. Really miss big island right now!
keep kickin a$$ LA! Keep making the 30 somethin's proud!
Brah, would luv 2 see u try Saddle Road, Pohakuloa base camp to Mauna Kea summit...might need knobbies & Oxy tank, tho...but if anyone can do it, it's u ;-) Kupaianaha!!
I wish it was warm enough here in NC to roll up some climbs like that. . . without chipping the ice off the kneecaps.
oops... from bridge in Hilo to visitor station on Mauna Kea. 34.5 miles, +9200'.
Nice - if you want something a little harder there's the route of the "Sea to Stars" - from the bridge in Hilo up to the Visitor Station on Mauna Kea. Sea level to 9200 feet in about 34 and a half miles. Winning time last race was something like 2.5 hou
Great Lance, and have a nice new year, I'm reaaly confident with you, really great shape...
remember: nothing compare to Falzarego Pass, or Pordoi, or ... any on the DO-LO-MI-TES!
AWESOME! Can't wait to cheer you on again. Watching the TDF without you just hasn't been the same!
Getting it done brother! Can't wait to see you finally dominate and win on the Ventoux this July!
reminded me of Mr. Steepy on Maui . . .
Looking GREAT Lance !
Lance: I have a GREAT little program (Mac only) called "e-santa" I used it for years with my son. I can send it to you if you want ?
this beats the Col de North London any time!! Well done Lance, this is top quality!!
ah - looks cold and wet. Cant wait to see you on the col du tourmalet and on Mt. Ventoux in July.
That makes Willunga Hill looks a bit sick, you'll fly up there on one leg.
The amount of training you do is really amazing to see.
