"Tadashi: Earth-Bound, Heaven-Linked"
[@Kit_Icarus @matoakit @QuillandInk63 @laeynarrie]
I'm not entirely sure where I got the inspiration for this, but I like it.
It shows how I am, to an extent: An Earthbound Red Fox (often the domain of the Nogitsune) with great independence, yet maintaining a connection and loyalty to the Divine (more characteristic of the Myōbu).
I am the anomaly.
I am the bridge.
I am the balance.

I'm surprised I never drew one like this before. #mysticism #Otherkin
Like any Decagram*, this is about a larger view of balance in the Universe; in particular, accepting that Darkness is as important as Light, and tolerating one's opposing world views.
The Decagram sometimes comes up as an Otherkin symbol (though the Heptagram does, also) -- and I only recently realized why, despite it really being so simple: It's the Man and the Other working in harmony within a single physical vessel.
The Decagram is a compound of two Pentagrams. As some see the Pentagram as like a being, a compound of two Pentagrams is like two beings in one.
The Tricolor of this serves three purposes:
1. Highlighting that while intermeshed and indivisible, the two central figures are separate forces;
2. Showing that the circle -- the outer face -- may indeed be something separate (compare godself, superego, or mask analogy);
3. Though not truly exclusive to me, I've adopted this gold/silver/bronze color scheme as a sort of personal symbolism.

Generation IV Altar (Light)
#mysticism #magic #Otherkin (@Kit_Icarus @Shirokifox_Rin)
After learning an interesting piece of information through @Kit_Icarus, I was finally able to incorporate the Golden Dragon idol I had for the longest time on the far side of the room.
What was the trigger -- and why a Dragon? Well, it seems that Inari has appeared as a Dragon in the past.
This is interesting from a Kitsu-Kin point of view: Traditionally, Dragons have been said to be able to defeat Kitsune. It makes more sense if they represent "The Boss" -- if you catch my drift. ;o)
The timing for all this is VERY interesting. For various reasons, I associate the tail I recently gained -- and its astral abilities -- with the Seraphim.
While many -- even me -- prefer to think of a Seraphim as a somewhat soft thing with six wings, Seraphim can be translated as "burning serpent."
An Eastern Dragon looks like a burning serpent...
