PLEASE eliminate the scums of #Vietnam from the world, ASAP!! "Vietnam is a country where rare (endangered?) animals are eaten" according to the Director of Vietnam's Cultural Belief's, Pro. Thinh who says foreigner's have no right to dislike Vietnamese people eating dog meat.
He calls the procedure of slaughtering and eating companion animals a "unique characteristic of Vietnam."
Principles of UNESCO ( United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization United Nations ) is to respect all cultures but Pro Tinh says "Foreigners have no right to intervene."
Dang Van Bai, deputy chairman of the Vietnam Cultural Heritage asks if eating dog meat affects morality? His bizarre answer is mystifying: "Alien intervention is not respecting cultural diversity. From my perspective eating dog meat is not truly barbaric."
From a different perspective, Mr. Ha, Director of the Center for Training Dogs say the dietary needs of Vietnamese people are no longer under strain of starvation and people need to think about what to eat and what not to eat. He hopes as dog's grow close to people, that Vietnamese people will gradually remove dog from their diet.
If Pro. Thinh has anything to do with it Vietnam will continue eating dog and ignore foreign outcries. Pro.Thinh thumbs his nose at "outsiders" who call the dog meat practice barbaric. According to him, no matter what foreigner's say, he will promote dog meat.
Fortunately Vietnam has people like Mr. Ha who appreciates the loyalty of a dog and the relationship that can be forged between a dog and it's owner.
