#Morocco#Sahara#goodbye This is my desert home & these are special friends/family.
These desert people have hearts of gold & thrive on hospitality.
In Africa when there's a wedding, a death, a birth, or the departure of a friend,
you spend the night drumming & singing. Ma'a salama!
After spending the afternoon riding camels, my son & I watch the sun setting over the Sahara. #Morocco#Sahara

#solar#wind#hybrid#Morocco#Sahara A roof of a Berber kasbah. I came up here to explore
the possibility of installing solar panels but look at the amount of sand that gets blown across the roof. That's an issue we need to talk about. We've already decided that
this will be a hybrid project and some wind will be harvested.
The winds off of the Sahara are strong. The village is very excited about
our presence. We are handed all sorts of
goodies to eat all day and the mint tea is superb!
I love this project. It's 5am and I'm having coffee
and working on some layouts I want to
talk about today, My son is snoring away right now but
in a couple of hours I'll get him up.
He's coming with me in the chopper and we are
going to ride camels. This is turning into a blog...
have a great one. Cheers.
