Kenya has been at The Burlington Animal Shelter for many months now. Since being with us Kenya has been through a few things.
The not so serious, she gained a lot of weight (nothing a good old diet can't fix) and got a little lazy.
The serious, we had to have her right eye surgically removed due to a severe infection (staff will be happy to answer all questions you may have). Since having her eye removed Kenya has been doing great! It has healed up nicely, she is behaving normally and she is back to being the same cat she was before.
***I should note that Kenya came to us with half a tail. It looks to be an old injury. This does not effect her in anyway.
Kenya is a wonderful cat who has been passed over by many because of her age, her fur colour, her size, etc. But that is okay because we at the shelter know there is someone(s) who are going to love Kenya just as much as we have grown to love her.
It is time for Kenya to get out of a cage, get out of the shelter and into a home that she can rightfully call her own with people who adore her.
