Death of Retired Police Dog K-9 Bak
One of Grand Rapids Police Departments longest serving, and most successful, police dogs has passed away. K-9 Bak succumbed to a fast moving cancer of the spleen. He was 9 ½ years old, and spent over 8 years working as a GRPD Police Dog. K-9 Bak had recently retired in September.
