Well no it wasnt necessary because they made a perfectly good normal version for half the price. But apart from that it is a really fun game. Well its fun if your into that kind of music

This is actually a challenging game believe it or not...i however did NOT buy the special edition. The remixes on the game are also pretty awesome.

I was just playing guitar hero with a friend 1 hour ago and it was pretty awesome. I also watch some gameplay videos of the dj hero but it wasnt much cool as GH
