Life in the countryside: a life of too many almost identical buttons.
A pic from tonight's show. I had sun lotion in one eye and tears running down one cheek the whole eve. Kinda threw me a little.
Turns out it's a baby-blue electric turned into a banjo. Banjo-sound but dead-easy to play. How amazing!
At it with Martin and the boys.
Ok, here's the new Martin. Tried MANY but ended up with very modest one. Warm, soft, wood-y, earthy, good for picking.
Straight from a surreal afternoon on stage to a very tangible 12-hour drive back to Denmark. Sound guy Rune chauffeurs:
Trio just played our biggest ever show in Karlsruhe. 35,000 lovely people! A tad surreal:
Relaxing after good first evening with Thomas D. About to watch The Weather Man but the sunset distracts.
Stuck. Missed connecting flight. But it's only a 10 hour wait so who's complaining. Got my own charming, cosy corner:
Breakfast jam on the porch as we speak.
Back in the country house in Zürich to drink, think, relax and write. Oh, and maybe start watching 'Rome'?
Right now eating shrimps, watching Jim Carrey 'Buff, Beautiful And Bitchin' in our lovely old backstage wagon.
We're playing a circus tent tonight - a very cool one, though. I've been practicing the trapezes all day.
May I recommend Danish beaches! A quick swim before soundcheck at Skagen Folk Festival. A happy day up north.
In Jonathan's garden with Sara and Honor. Someone's got new cool shoes!
No more camping!! Chilling on uncle's terrace in Zürich before 3 days in London and 3 days in New York.
Having a nice long massage after a long period of feeling like this:
Nice day on the Storebæltsbro. Maybe Skive won't drown us after all. Except for in cold Bacardi Breezers and fadøls.
What's this!!? (It might mean I need to make room for my new-found favourite cover song tonight)...
