One of the coolest moments of the 2011 Yunlin International Puppetry Festival (for me, anyway) was when Taiwanese Master puppeteer Huang Shih-Chin was brought up on stage during my show to do some puppeteering.

Work continues on the PuppetVision documentary...this weekend I'm filming @clayandpaper's show "The Peddler's Wager" at Dufferin Grove Park in Toronto.

From a TV pilot called "Jasper and Carl" that I directed late last year...In the final composited shot the puppeteers' arms and puppet rods are digitally removed from the original shot and replaced with the background plate.

Over the next year and a half I'm interviewing dozens of puppeteers from all over the world for a documentary based on my PuppetVision blog and last night I had the good fortune of sitting down with Bob and Elise Nathanson for an interview. They shared some wonderful stories and it would be hard to find another couple who are so obviously passionate about puppetry!
