CECIL McBEE announces new spokesmodels

The popular K-Pop girl group After School was announced as spokesmodels for the fashion brand CECIL McBEE's 2012 autumn/winter collection on the 31st.
CECIL McBEE is wildly popular among women of all ages. After School, chosen as spokesmodels, are pulling off the autumn/winter style well, wearing leather and mohair jackets together with classical hats. The stylish outfits that incorporate the trendy color black are something to take cues from in the following seasons.

The After School members showed their dedication by commenting, "We think it's a great honor, and we're very happy. We wore a lot of clothes from CECIL McBEE for the shoot. We worked hard, figuring out facial expressions and poses that match each clothes's image, so we definitely want everyone to have a look!"

Future plans at CECIL McBEE include After School's images in store fronts and playback of songs and clips on monitors in all of their 67 stores (as of the end of August).

After School is a K-Pop group that debuted in Korea in 2009 and in Japan last August. The members are all 167cm or taller and have model-like figures. One of the members, Nana, has appeared as a main model in Tokyo Girls Collection. They are gaining attention as fashion icons.

The audience melts with the "devil dance"

Korean girl group Orange Caramel, from After School's Raina, Nana, and Lizzy, was summoned to the big stage of Asia Progress F before their 9/5 Japan debut. Their cute and lovable characters and unique dance brought smiles to many faces, filling the venue with a fun atmosphere.

For their Japanese debut song, a cover of the Candies' "My Sweet Devil," they put on orange horns on their heads and melted the audience's hearts with a memorable "devil dance." Having the strong appeal of addictiveness, the girls are sure to have left their mark with this concert.

After School's Kahi, who announced her graduation, performed her last stage in Japan.

On the 17th, After School held an encore concert at Tokyo Dome City Hall. At this concert, they especially gained attention with Kahi, who announced her graduation, performing her last solo stage.

Kahi, having a reputation for dance, captivated the audience's eyes and ears with a charismatic dance. After performing, Kahi shed tears, reluctant to part.

Kahi shared her thoughts, saying, "It was an encore concert that I put my all into, with no regrets. I was blessed to be able to stand on stage as After School's leader. I'm eager to show my growth after I graduate."

Kahi, who has been leading the group as After School's leader, worked harder than anybody to stand on that stage since it was the last stage for her as a member of After School, who will return to their activities in Korea on the 21st. According to the management company, Kahi has been practicing for her solo stage day and night while going back and forth between Korea and Japan to show the best performance possible to the audience.

The management company Pledis stated, "The reason Kahi's solo stage at this concert shined brighter than usual is because Kahi poured all her heart and soul into it."

After School released their new song in Japan, "Lady Luck," on the 13th and was no.3 on the Oricon chart.
