'You're just a human being,
my dear, sweet child.'
Today's sermon (http://bit.ly/WBCsermon) has 1 of my fav. verses (we're to preach "in season, out of season" -- always!):
God is faithful. Stand on these promises. Believe God.
@acalmdark …part really struck me. When you're so full of pride you think you figured it all out? That's scary. #fool
@matthewpriesty Of course. That fact relieves neither you nor me of our duty to God, to strive against sin + obey Him.
Via @firewall5000 "So all flesh is made of grass?" Since metaphors seem to confuse you, here's a simile:
@acalmdark …(amazing things that God created) -- but none of it compares to the knowledge of God + the spiritual.
Note the parallel. Each of us will stand before God; don't wait till then. Don't be "stupidly sottish;" take notice.
@jakefogelnest I hope @pattonoswalt wins -- he hearts our "God Hates the World" parody! ;) #Memories #ObeyGod
@MaryV11 …except when it's fighting for a nation in full-on rebellion against God -- & made God Himself its enemy.
@tucsonevan This one:
@Nax84 Meant to send this earlier, but don't think I did. (also, I'm done. You couldn't care less. #WastingTime)
@tweets_anton Thanks for that. It's why we preach (one of the many reasons =). For the little sheep who will hear.
@Nax84 …and all we have is on the table to be used to serve God + His people. Last: how to "give" if you don't have?
@Nax84 …but for anyone who would live in them & walk in them.
@oner51 For the most part, I thought it was pretty accurate. Here's what I tweeted another guy who asked:
@bradleyaddis Au contraire; you can delete your tweets, but Tweetbot remembers forever! ♥ =)
@JoeyHermes All of us here have our hands to the plow & aren't looking back.
On page 156 of my cousin's high school textbook for US Govt., who do we find but @DearShirley? #Publishing #ThankGod
Thank God for keeping @PilgrimFCD. "...all things work together for good to them that love God..." Rom. 8:28.
