Really? Why send us this emergency alert? I'm a student here at BU - but if a graduate student is shot off campus, it's awful and maybe news-worthy but "Emergency Alert" worthy for all students at the school? Allston is nearby but still off campus.

My dad just forwarded me this email... his first cousin, Alex (my first cousin once removed) is dying and Muriel who wrote the email is his mother. He's been forwarding me a lot of emails but this one's about their struggle to make Hanukkah happy failing... idk why I'm sharing. I just felt like sharing it. Sorry for the downer. I'm sad for them although I don't know any of them too well. I did always like Alex and his two young sons who I think are 12 and 16 now?
