Owner of a construction company and mom to a kid.
& this is me, a couple of days ago.
ice & snow over everything
a snow shadow in the woods today
& here's most of a door in the basement - no-one over 5'2"
looking fr the kitchen to the front door, you can see the 3 columns to the living room on the left, stairs right
that's most of the kitchen, you can see where the stove & microwave are to go.
there's one of the the little column shelves... don't ask, I don't know why.
had to cut up the stairs & do this little jog in 'em 'cos they were set wrong - custom stairs, mind you!
better view of the chase - the rails are going to go where you see the light wood...
the flooring's been laid & the nosing installed - you can still see the duct chase they slapped on sticking out.
I braved the cold for today's sunrise pic
you can see the other columns, with their extra l'il shelves on top... that's called "not planning".
this is one of the 3 custom columns th' man made; notice the li'l shelf-like thing sticking out at the top. wth??
these are the measurements for the skylight trim - 16 different numbers!
you can see on the right the skylight's tight to the frame, look at it slope to the left; every one is like this.
notice the one skylight's abt 2" bigger than the other
& here's the - well, I'm not entirely sure what it is - off the bedroom.
the walkway coming to you on the rt is 4' wide; the horizontal one in the middle is 3'; going to back of hse, 5'
this walkway's 3'; when the rails get set, it'll be abt 31" across. better be skinny!
here's the walkway, with the little bumpout for the ductwork... they're gonna rail it straight, tho!
