Things are starting to buzz here at America West Arena. The NBA All Star Game is about to begin.

As I shovel, I always think about the kids walking to school, fighting these drifts. I'll do my part to keep them out of the street. I wanted that for my kids. It's the least I can do for yours. Time for more Macy's coffee. I earned it.

My neighbors are all out of their houses...together. I never see that. They're talking, laughing, grunting. A snow shovel is a great equalizer. We work together, individually, yet collectively.

Out front, snow had drifted 2 feet. After digging my way out of the driveway for a while, I look at my front door it seems hours away. I decide that I'll use the garage this morning, front door can wait.
