"A lot of people have been asking me about the relationship of Starbucks to Israel. Yes, Starbucks is releasing a lot of information trying to distance themselves from support for Israel. However, remember this: Howard Schultz, their founder and CEO, was awarded by the right-wing ultra-Zionist group Aish HaTorah as "Israel's 50th Anniversary Friend of Zion Tribute Award."
Who's Aish HaTorah? The same rightwing company that was behind the viciously anti-Islamic DVD "Obsession" that was distributed in the eve of the 2008 elections and I had written about.
That information used to be displayed on Starbucks' website, but now that they are afraid of BDS, it has been hidden. Here is a snapshot of it below. Basically: If a company that is spreading hateful anti-Muslim propaganda rewards the founder of your company, you probably don't want to be patronizing it. If you are in support of BDS, if you support peace and justice solutions in Palestine/Israel, don't go to Starbucks.
