Break-wall to the harbor in Algoma,
End of the runway. Must be something to land a small plane on a runway like this.
Small airport along the trail. No TSA wait to board.
Contemplated jumping in to remove the trail grit. Looked so inviting.
Waited for the next wave of storms to pass by spending time in downtown Sturgeon Bay.
Arrived in Sturgeon Bay without get rained on again.
Another wave of storms was developing to the south and the west.
The trail became rather steamy after the rain. I was thoroughly soaked and covered in limestone dust and grit.
For about 7-8 miles I rode in the pouring rain. Found this trail side shelter just when the Lightening started.
I thought when the sky cleared I might miss the storms.
The Sky was starting to look stormy, I was going to get wet whether I turned back or continued to Sturgeon Bay.
The trail from Algoma to Sturgeon Bay was a mix of woodlands and farm-fields

Algoma has some interesting Murals on some of the buildings in the Historic section of town.
Nice looking beach with a boardwalk.
First stop was Algoma.
