Some of my kids sent me this picture from the last day of class. Bunch of sweetie pies. :)
The moon slipping behind the mountains.
Love this statue near my hotel. Holding his toga out to catch the coins. This area was Lycia, not Lydia though.
Gotta love ancient cities that end up on a pebbled, Mediterranean beach.
Chimera: Fire-breathing mountain...source of many myths.
sarcophagus with a view
More construction (new road), the hospital, and a storm blowing over the mountains.
Not a war zone, just a new building going up behind the education faculty and a dramatic sky.
The new street lamps on campus remind me of either a flower or a weird insect, I can't decide which.
This might finally help me remember the spellings of loose and lose.
Setting behind the mountains.
Moon about to set this morning...my newer camera has great zoom.
Wreck from 1025 AD, frame is metal to show the shape, but you can see some of the real boards that have survived.
Display of a shipwreck found in the area from the Bronze Age, around 1300 BC.
The town, the bay, and some flowers...I could stay there all day.
I found petunias by the castle, that means I get to move in, right?
Sahara-scented fabric softener...because who doesn't want their clothes to smell like a desert full of camels?
Anyone need to make peace? I can pick you up an olive branch...
@TedOnTV My cat wants to know when USA is going to air a cat show.
Also, I had fun playing with my new camera. It has a lot more zoom than my old one...
