All sorts of different people, from all over Leeds, telling the world about living in the city. Each Monday a new person will take over the account.
We found an elephant!
And a walk in the Otley Chevin Forest Park....
Then a drive out for lunch at the lovely Cheerful Chilli http://thecheerfulchilli.co.uk/
First took boy1 to his swimming lesson, along the lovely new pavement on Kirkstall Rd. What are these posts for?
Waddled, toddled and scooted back home. Love how there are still some cobbled streets round here.
One advantage of all this rain: everywhere's lush and leafy, with lots of bluebells.
The playground's not the newest or fanciest in Leeds, but good enough for the boys!
Have always wondered which Pet Shop Boys fan wrote this, and when?
Had been promising a post-school park trip, at last it stopped raining! Walked over to Burley Park.
Eyes bigger than bellies?
And then we had lunch in the cafe. He was pretty pleased with his fish finger sandwiches!
...and managed to find a top trumps game :-s
The boy built some civic buildings....
And next to it is an exhibit about People of Leeds :)
There's also a great under 5s play area.
Boy2's spiritual home. That anteater vs bird game to the right is such a con, the anteater ALWAYS wins.
Next stop the City Museum, via Millennium Square for a run around, wish there were more places in town to do this!
Love how on the 'Picture of Health' panel they've included the ugly Worsley Building. I used to work there.
The boys like spotting these chaps on the stairs
