Speaking of BBQ - if you're hanging/waiting for the charcoals to light - catch Tony Scott's use of facial hair on Numb3rs. "Trust Metric" KCAL 9 Saturday 6:00pm. For this episode, Tony had Peter McNicol's character grow a beard. In fact, he asked many cast members to grow beards and/or get different haircuts. Tony explained at a production meeting, "Because I have none, I am fascinated by everyone else's hair."

An untypical day of filming. Shooting on "Planet of the Apes" wall - Malibu State Park. #Numb3rs "High Exposure." The wall became known as the Planet of the Apes wall among rock climbers because it was used in the filming of the movie, as was much of the park. Climbers still use old iron anchors at the top of the wall originally created by the "Apes" production crew.
