Fire Alarm Office strategically moved apparatus to the neighborhoods hit hardest & still kept response time down.

West Roxbury, Roslindale, JP & Allston-Brighton were hard hit, requiring Apparatus from other neighborhoods.

we usually respond to approximately 195 incidents in a 24 hr period, From 8am to 6pm, we responded to 533.

residents were evacuated & fire was extinguished because of the prompt actions of the first arriving companies.

The hose could not be attached properly & was kinked reducing the volume of water available to put out the fire.

On Saturday, at 1AM Boston Fire Fighters arrived at a fire to find the fire hydrant blocked by a parked car.
