This crane was installed last week and is evidence that construction on McCarran’s new Air Traffic Control Tower is under way. The new tower will stand 352 feet above ground level, more than 15 stories taller than the current Las Vegas tower. If completed today, this would be the second-tallest tower in the nation. Only Atlanta’s (398 feet) is taller.
