BELIZE POLICE REPORT 8th May, 2013


CARNAL KNOWLEDGE

On 07.05.13 (May 7, 2013) at about 4:30pm, acting upon information received police visited an abandoned concrete house on Apollo St Belama Phase 4. At the abandoned house was 26 year old Edwin Emmanuel Coye of Apollo St address Belama Phase 4 with a 14 year old student. They were both escorted to the Police Station where they met the mother of the minor along with a Social worker. The minor reported that on the 06.05.13 (May 6, 2013), sometime after 3:00pm Coye met her at the bus stop on Apollo St. where she followed him to the abandoned house where she had sexual intercourse with him. Sometime between 4:00pm and 4:30pm on 07.05.13 (May 7, 2013), she met him at the bus stop again where upon his request, she went with him to the same abandoned house and he had sexual intercourse with her. Police has since detained Edwin Coye pending charge of Carnal Knowledge.

POSTMORTEM
Reference the death of John Paul Fernandez which occurred on 04.05.13. Dr. Mario Estradabran conducted a post mortem examination where he certified that the cause of death was Bronchial Aspiration due to head and neck trauma as consequences of a gunshot wound.

PUNTA GORDA
CARNAL KNOWLEDGE
A 14yr old, Belizean Domestic of Punta Gorda Town reported in the presence of her mother that on the 27.1.13 Jan 27, 2013) at 1:00am, 28.3.13 (March 3, 2013) at 12:00am and on the 6.5.13 (May 6, 2013) at 5:30pm she had sexual intercourse at her house with her boyfriend Brian Garcia. She was taken to the Punta Gorda Hospital for medical examination where doctor certified that the minor is carnally known and is 17 weeks pregnant. Police has detained Brian Garcia, 19yrs, Belizean unemployed of Dangriga Town pending charges of Carnal Knowledge.

CARNAL KNOWLEDGE
On 07.05.13 (May 7, 2013) at about 11:35am acting upon information received Police officers visited a residence on Ogaldez Street, Punta Gorda Town where 15year old minor, Belizean Student was found in the company of Rasheed Elijio. As a result the minor and her mother were escorted to the Police Station, where the minor reported that on seven occasions she had sexual intercourse with Rasheed Elijio. The minor was taken to the Punta Gorda Hospital for medical examinations where Doctor Certified that the minor is carnally known. Police has since detained Rasheed Elijio, 18yrs, Belizean fisherman of Dangriga Town pending charges Carnal Knowledge.

#BELIZE CANCER WALK 2013

The Belize Cancer Society, Annual Cancer Walk starts from Ladyville village (outside Celina’s) at 5:00am in the morning. Buses will leave the Belize Cancer Society Office located on 2625 Mercy Lane at 4:30am to begin taking passengers to Ladyville. There will also be Buses available at the Pallotti High School bus stop to pick up additional passengers and those along the way.

The Walk finishes at the Belize Cancer Society office, where there will be a small ceremony in honour of the memory of Mrs. Karen Skeen Vellos a valiant member and advocate of the Belize Cancer Society and a tremendous supporter of its Annual Cancer Walk. There will be juice and water available free of cost and a wide variety of foods will be on sale.

As a BELIZEAN I think it is shameful that they could suggest that our territorial sovereignty is LESS important to the nation then their personal agenda against equality for LGBT persons! The Charge Is #Murder: #Belize

Official Police Report: Classified as MURDER
On the 27th April 2013 at about 12:15 pm, police visited Belizean Beach situated at mile 5 on the George Price Highway where they saw the apparently lifeless bodies of three children that were retrieved from the sea by police officers.

Initial investigations revealed that on the same date between the hours of 8 and 9 am, 22 year old Felicia Chen unemployed of mile 8 on the George Price Highway, left with her children: Trina Teul 6 years old, Triana Elica Teul 4 years old, Thomas Edilberto Teul 3 years old and Trinaya Felicia Teul 1 year old to Belizean Beach. On arrival, she reportedly took all her four children and walked with then into the sea until all three were drowned. However, Trina Teul the eldest reportedly ran out of the sea and alerted someone on the highway of the incident. The police were then informed. All three bodies (identified by their grandmother of the same address - Prostacia Chen), were taken to the KHMH were they were pronounced dead at 1:45 pm.

The bodies now await a post mortem examination. The Felicia Chen is being detained pending the outcome of the investigation.

A mother in Belize City, #Belize has killed her three children. Sources say the children ages 1, 2 and 3 were killed by drowning. A fourth child, age 6 is reported to have escaped the mother’s killing spree. What could have driven the young mother to take the lives of her children?

Nobody knows what she was feeling. Postpartum depression is a serious illness. It's time that we confront the dragon, mental illness!

When a tragic killing like this occurs, immediately lines are drawn between the "good" and "bad". It is important that we take a few moments to fully get a grasp on what actually happened. A lot of us are asking how could a mother who maybe looks normal, do this to her own children? She simply must have been insane.

Rather than jump into a great debate let us pray for her, for those who are crying, and the souls of the departed little children.

VICTORY FOR #CONSERVATION IN #BELIZE: The Supreme Court today declared 6 offshore contracts to be unlawful and therefore null and void; says government followed improper procedure. The decision was handed down by Justice Oswal Legal. Observers say that their preliminary assessment is that the ruling has huge implications for one of the companies whose contract also includes onshore drilling.
