A shot of the moon I took with my Nikon this evening. 2-14-13 Didn't know about the silhouette till after I saw it on the computer. :) Looking up at the moon at night always reminds me that at least someone else in the world is. It also reminds me that as it gets dark, there is always some sort of light around me, even if it's just stars. Same holds true in the dark times in life.

Today has turned into an awesome day! You HAVE to read this! Sorry, it's a bit long.
We are still keeping pain under control as needed and trying to get Christina to drink more. However she has begged us to ride the DART trains since we got here. Since she is post-op we did that today. The plan was to just to ride one up and down once then get back to the Ronald McDonald House. As we were on the train, a worker on there mentioned the Park Lane mall. We figured we would do lunch in there, see a few shops then head back. Well, I wanted to check out Build-a-Bear to find out about doing a gift for Christina when we come back for the post-op appointment. We didn't have the money for that right now. Well, the manager was asking about Christina and her story. I gave him one of her Caringbridge cards and told him my plans with a bear for Christina later. Even then I wouldn't be able to do too fancy. Well, we went across the 'hall' to the Lego store to see something in there. The manager from Build-a-Bear got our attention and said he wanted us to come back to make a bear for Christina. I was like 'Now?' He said yes and that it was on the two of them. What???? So the bear you see in the pic is what Christina got today thanks to the generosity of the two men in the picture. The outfit the bear has on is Spider-Man and it has Spider-Man shoes on as well. All of this was on these two kind men. The one on the left is the manager. I have tears in my eyes thanks to this and right now Christina is taking a nap with her new bear she decided to name Jenny after someone here who works at the Ronald McDonald House. The manager from the Lego Store also gave Christina some Lego men. :-) Today was more then I expected it to be. If we can get Christina to drink more, we will come home tomorrow!!! Have a good one!
Day three, morning. We would be discharged today but that's in question because of the lack of eating/drinking. We'll see what happens. I'll know this afternoon probably. She just ate an entire thing of yogurt so progress there!

As the morning sun begins to rise in Dallas, the tears threaten to fall because I look at the dawn sky with hope that Christina can finally be a kid again. Thank you Jesus! @SonnyWhosoever
