A bear created by cartoonist Phil Frank, found in the Sierras by The Big Guy & given to his Lady. I now travel with them when they go on adventures.
LIttle Bird hopped up & perched on Big Guy's bunk. I think it was his first trip out of nest.
This dear came down at dusk to munch in the meadow. Hard to get a low light distance shot.
This Robin was hunting for his breakfast.
Mr Lizard was sunning himself on a rock. He's blurry because we had to use full telephoto or he would scamper off
Camp isn't in the wilderness but we did meet some of our wild brethern. Here is a duck & some of her ducklings.
Sunsets were peaceful & quiet (with 500 scouts around?). Had to be careful to not nod off & slide into the lake.
At night I had my own Buckster sized campfire.
At lunch time I had to guard the chips from Blue Jays & hungry Scoutmasters. Who wanted the Doritos?
I think this is my favorite shot. The lake was down & if it were full I would be under 10 ft of water. Glub Glub
Our campsite was right on the lake.
At the end of the game they had fireworks. Tried to get more shots, but the battery pooped out. It got a work out
The big yellow guy working the crowd is the team mascot, Parker. He's a talented but weird looking bear.
One of our trips wouldn't be complete without a baseball game. So when we got home it was off to the ballpark.
Their sample server held six tasters & could double as a brace for a bear if he over indulged.
He let me have a ride even thought the sign said not to. A freindly chap who has nice beers.
While in Las Vegas we visited Big Dog Brewing. Guess who met us out front, the Big Dog.
While Big Guy & M'lady visited the Casino, I practiced my King Kong impression using some souvenirs they got.
But the room was big & comfy. You can see me in the distance checking out the bed.
The view was roof top again, but you can see the Strip in the distance.
Did I mention it was windy that day. Big Guy wanted me to play stunt bear & roll across the parking lot. I passed.
