Completed the arete now. The next task is the vertical climb of 1,400 feet to scale Ben Nevis..
Having summited CMD, we started off along the ridge walk. Vertical either side to make it a 'tad tasty' ....
Our first real glimpse of the arete ridge which we need to tackle to get over to Ben Nevis
Took a photo break with Dad before heading for our 1st summit of the day... Nevis is looking daunting....
3/4 of the way up CMD with Nevis behind me. The vertical climb above my head would be my toughest to date....

At 2,700 feet and the hoomans needed a rest... Phffft !!!!
Dad gave me a reassuring cuddle as we stated to gain height...
There was skirts of cloud hanging around Ben Nevis at 3,500 feet as we started up the CMD
At 1,000 feet and starting the climb proper....
Got MY climbing harness on and ready to lead our intrepid group to our fist mountain, CMD
Ready to climb Ben Nevis by the CMD arete route, my most dangerous climb so far.
True courage is when this happens...and 2 minutes later, you're jumping again....
Hope the wee one does us and the Scottish team proud...
