Stevia fresh from the garden. These leaves are absurdly sweet. Great in iced tea.

Gold medal son comes home from a month cooking in Italy. Mmmmmm...he learned something: "Fresh pasta with home grown tomatoes, basil, sage, and a hit of rosemary with olive oil fresh from Sicily!"

Stupidly simple and absurdly good. Garden tomatoes, fresh buffalo mozzarella, basil, luxuriously good olive oil. Neighbrohood spot north side of ROMA

This wasn't good...it was absurd. Fresh pasta, hand-rolled, wild mushrooms, just a bit of lamb sausage. Are you kidding me!!!

Lunch in Florence--pears, five cheeses, walnuts, honey on a bed of arugula. We get honey with cheese in Italy. It's good.

Eggplant, tomato sauce, fresh pasta, a little cheese grated on top. In Rome or not, do you really need a lot more than that?

Bad pic but very good pizza. Crust with olive oil and roasted veggies. Peppers were marinated first. Marinating vegetables seems to be a Rome thing.
