Rescue is our middle name. Rescuing domestic animals and wildlife that are sick, injured or otherwise distressed.
In the crate, the turkey did not want to sit still. It was transported to @NE_Wildlife for further evaluation.
With the assistance of the Malden ACO, the turkey was caught after a short chase. It could run fast, but not fly.
We were able to find and rescue the injured hawk in Woburn.
The gull that was frozen to the ice in Lowell for 2 days, is getting its feet back under him at our shelter.

Finally with a little patience and some food, got them all to line up for inspection.

Picked up this barred owl from Milton last night and took it to @tuftsvet for further evaluation.
This pair of cute young cats was picked up in Malden. They are also resting comfortably at our shelter.

The mystery animal in the window well in Winchester was a muskrat. It would not stand still for a photo.
This "little" girl did not want to sit still for her photo. She is now happy and comfortable in her new home.
This cat was trying to get in at a shelter for people in Somerville. It is now at our shelter, ejoying a meal.
This little girl was rescued from a wall in a church basement, that was under going repairs in Somerville.
The injured cormorant was taken to our facilities for an examination.
The cormorant was then carefully passed to the rescuer on shore. Cormorants can bite, they like to go for the face
We then pulled the kayak to shore, while the rescuer restrained the bird.
After a little difficulty, the rescuer was able to capture and restrain the cormorant.
