Actually, in that same part of the Bolivar statue inscription, there is an obscure reference to the Gnostic text Pistis Sophia... which is now perfectly legal to own and read (though sadly not so in the 14th century).
Oh, and there is a statue of Simon Boilvar in front of the Department of the Interior in Washington DC. The inscription on it alludes to the feminine concept of Libertas.
You guys are pretty good! Simon Bolivar, liberator of South America from the Spanish (home of the Inquisition, etc.), Scottish Rite Freemason, and staunchly against slavery (unlike George Washington, for example).
