@karrotsoup us Norwegians didn't like when we had to use the union flag "Sildesalaten" (the herring salad) 100 years ago http://no.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sildesalaten so I just thought the one you linked to wasn't that popular among N.Ires
bagheraa on August 23, 2009
@karrotsoup yup, I found that (the second one), but I thought it was just the flag of England + something added for N.Ireland and that you didn't use it
karrotsoup on August 23, 2009
@bagheraa We do indeed have our own flag. Technically we have 2. The Union Jack and http://www.flagsonline.it/Bandiere/adesivi/northern-ireland.jpg. So yeah :D Nice sentiment Eddie, hope it doesn't rain too hard!

Beautiful placement of the dove BTW, it will look like she's flying when it flutters.

Made your own flag? You deserve merit badges for creative diplomacy, community service and sewing as well:) I bet you'll get a lot of local approval... ~Green Peace~ is a world class idea!

Looking good Eddie - hope you're enjoying my home city, Belfast. Wish I was there instead of here. You're inspiring! (and we have a great flag people - it forms part of the union jack!) x

its a lovely flag and the feeling behind it is smashing ...and for a country that should be proud about the peace it has achieved against all the odds ......and as you are doing the same with this run its very apt..bellisima xxx

Great sentiment!

I wondered what flag you'd use! Wondered if a clutch of flags might be the way to go, but this works better.
