Prophet Abraham {peace be upon him} is given the title "KHALIL ULLAH" {Friend of Allah} by Allah subhanahu wa taala: “Who can be better in religion than one who submits his whole self to Allah, does good, & follows the way of Abraham the true in Faith? For Allah did take Abraham for a friend.” {Q4:125} Meaning, Just following the way of Abraham {pbuh} or any Prophet is not enough doing good is also necessary if we want Allah to love us.
