An area of low pressure will push across eastern Colorado today, dragging a cold front through the region this evening. Ahead of this cold front, monsoon moisture will continue to spread over the state, bringing the potential for heavy rain over the mountains, with an elevated flash flood threat continuing over the burn scars, particularly over the West Fork burn scar. Behind the cold front tonight, moisture will briefly increase across the eastern plains, with a slightly better chance for precipitation developing, mainly north of highway 50. Area temperatures will remain near to slightly above average across the region today, as highs warm into the 80s to low 90s across the eastern plains and 60s and 70s over the high country.
