Broad high pressure in the upper air will remain anchored over the southern plains states Monday, keeping southwest flow aloft streaming into Colorado and bringing monsoon moisture into the state. scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected over the mountains, with isolated activity around the lower elevations in the afternoon and evening. Another day of warm temperatures is also on tap...with highs near to a little above average...as temperatures reach the 60s and 70s in the mountains...the 70s over the southern valleys...and the 80s across the eastern plains.
