High pressure will cover most of eastern Colorado today...with drier and cooler air spreading through most parts of viewing area. The exception will be parts of extreme eastern Colorado ...where some weak low level moisture could creep back into the area...with partly cloudy skies and an isolated thunderstorm or two possible in the late afternoon and early evening. Temperatures should be around average for the start of September...as high temperatures reach the 60 and 70s in the high country...and the 70s and 80s over the rest of the area.
