The PG Bets of the Week

A local golfing punter had the sweat of his life at the weekend and what a sweat it was.
He placed a £10 each-way bet last Wednesday and first up he took Welshman Jamie Donaldson at 10/1 to win the Czech Masters and he did just that on Sunday afternoon with a two-stroke win.
The sweat was on as he was waiting on 50/1 shot Hunter Mahan who was in the mix going into the last round of the Barclays Open and was just two shots behind leaders Jim Furyk and Jason Day.
The American produced a round of 65 to ease to victory in the end to the delight of our punter who scooped an amazing £6085.00 for his £20 stake - what a double.

Punter grabs York Treble
Over at York on Saturday a North Belfast punter was also celebrating after grabbing a £5 treble at the Ebor meeting.
Custom Cut (11/2) got the bet off to a flyer winning the first race by a neck and when Muhaarar (7/1) won the 3.15 our punter had £260 riding on his last selection.
Our punter had an anxious hour ahead before his final selection ran but it was well worth it as his horse Mind of Madness (4/1) got the verdict in a three-way photo.
He lifted £1,300 off the docket - not bad for a Saturday afternoon punting.
