An upper level area of low pressure will push over Colorado today, bringing cooler weather, along with isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms to the region. Drier air will then spread back across the state behind this low on Friday, with only a few isolated late day thunderstorms expected into the upcoming weekend, mainly over the mountains. Area temperatures will fall back to below average today, with a gradual warming trend then taking place through the upcoming weekend. (Please visit http://weather.gov/pub for more information.)
