It would be hard to accept, but certain humans have guardian light-beings that are watching over their spirit called the Pa Paal, they create spirits with souls. (Light beings as in beings with no physical body, they're spiritual) They don't make millions of dollars appear in your hand or give you a fantasy woman or man to play with. These light beings are more like puppet masters pulling the strings. Their mission is to make sure his or her soul isn't damaged very harshly by the chaos in that human's life.
