Tropical moisture will continue to stream into Colorado today...keeping the possibility of afternoon and evening thunderstorms in the picture for the start of the work week. a slow moving surface cool front stretching through eastern Colorado could also be the focus area for locally heavy rain in Teller and El Paso counties...over area burn scars...and over parts of Kiowa county on the far eastern plains. For just a quick look ahead...thunderstorms should become more widespread Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday with the threat of heavy rain still a concern over the eastern mountains and along the Palmer Divide. Little change in temperatures is expected from Sunday's highs...but the mercury should drop several degrees Tuesday. (Please visit http://weather.gov/pub for more information.)
