Weekend Selections

Thank the Lord for Rory McIlroy and Arsenal last weekend or it will would have been a complete wash-out for us.
Let’s hope we get at least a sweat this weekend at the soccer, and we do play it safe a little with the bankers bet.

PG HOT TREBLE
On to the first weekend bet, the Hot Treble and we head to the first day of the Premier League to fill this bet.
First team down are Stoke (1/1) who host Aston Villa and we are siding with Mark Hughes’ team to hit the gorund running on Saturday.
He has brough in quality over the summer with Phil Bardsley, Mame Biram Diouf, Bojan Krkic, Steve Sidwell and Dionatan Teixeira all coming in and go into the weekend in good heart after a good pre-season work out and can bag three points against aVilla team who could well struggle again this term.
We head to the King Power Stadium next and are banking on Everton (11/8) hitting the ground with win over Premier League newcomers Leicester.
Spurs (11/10) are another team we think can get the perfect start when they travel to West Ham for their opening game.
The Hot Treble pays just over 9/1

PG GOALRUSH
On to the Goalrush and we suggest you take both teams to score in the opening games at the weekend: Birmingham v Brighton, Bolton v Nottingham Forest, Reading
v Ipswich, West Brom v Sunderland, QPR
v Hull and the finishing with the Peterborough v MK Dons game.

PG XXX - TRIXIE
Let’s hope for better luck in the draw trixie and we have opted for honours to be shared in the following games.
The Premier League QPR v Hull game looks a tough one to call and we like the draw in this one while Sunderland can grab a point at the Hawthorns where they take on West Brom.
We finish the draw treble at the Reebok and taking Nottingham Forest to grab a point against Bolton in the Championship
Remember that Trixie bet folks, a 10/1 winner better than no winner.

PG BANKERS
On to the Bankers of the weekend and the Top 5 teams in the Premier League are all napped to win in the opening weekend but you will not get rich punting on them as the 5 teams to win pays only 4/1 which is dismal.
Manchester United (4/9) can get the ball rolling with a win at Saturday lunchtime against Swansea at Old Trafford while Arsenal (1/3) can also make a solid start against Crystal Palace at the Emirates.
On to Sunday and champions Man City (8/15) can make a winning start at Newvastle as can Liverpool (1/3) who entertain Southampton at Anfield.
Hopefully the first 4 in the bag as we head into the first Monday night game of the new Premier League season and we are taking a Chelsea (2/5) win at Turf Moor over new-boys Burnley.

PG OVERS - PAYS 13/1
Finally the new Overs bet and we stick to the Top 5 in the Premier League where we will betting on a game to have over 2.5 goals so 3 goals needed in the following games.
Man Utd v Swansea, Arsenal v Crystal Palace, Newcastle v Man City, Liverpool v Southampton and finishing with that Monday night game Burnley v Chelsea.
Remember folks, bet within your means, don’t chase it and no matter how good of a punter you think you are - the bookie always wins.
