The rainy season will continue over central and western Colorado Wednesday...as tropical moisture increases over the mountains. Slow moving showers and thunderstorms could produce heavy rain and flash flooding along and near the Continental Divide...and Flash Flood Watches have been issued for most western mountain areas. Look for mostly sunny skies over the San Luis Valley and the eastern plains...with little chance of precipitation. Temperatures should be a few degrees warmer in most areas...but still a little below average. A surge of monsoonal rain will to the rest of southeast Colorado Thursday...with rainfall expected in most areas.
