PLEASE SHARE!!!!!!!!!!!! THIS happen daily in #Romania tolerated from #EU !! It all started like this. After mid-day, Carmena and our german visitors, Iris Westermeier, Bianca Raabe and Santoro Margherita were in Public Shelter. Carmena was feeding the dogs and Iris, Bianca and Margherita were cleaning the outside kennels. Carmena was inside and saw the catchers van coming so she went to them. They said they have to bring in 3 dogs that were taken care by a woman at her fence and a neighbor made complain against her to City Hall to come and take the dogs. They went and caught the dogs, surely very violently as one of the dogs still have the cathing wire and they were full of blood. Figuring out what will happen Carmena went in the open side of PS and called also Iris, Bianca and Margherita to come. Carmena found an empty kennel and asked them to put them there and to put car near to be easier. But, they didnt listen and started to take down dogs with the IRON POLE that is strangling dogs neck until one cant breath. It was a nighmare image, dogs were screaming, blood everywhere, dogs were nearly dead, lying on the concret after have been strangled again while catchers wanted to take them in the kennel. They didnt allow german visitors to film trying to bruttaly smugle Iris phone. Iris and Bianca almost fainted when they saw what is happening. In that moment one of the workers called public vet and director telling to urgently come because german visitors are nearly fainted and lying down.One of the catchers wanted to attack Bianca but Iris stepped in and told not even dare about it!!! The public vet and director came and they asked Carmena not to publish those photos. They also arqued with vet from the catching van why they brought dogs here knowing that Carmena and german visitors are in PS. ( Meaning that they could have easily take them to forests or other places where they dump them- a small number of the collected dogs reach the PS, the others are loosing track). Dogs had visible wounds and the treatment applying to dogs and to visitors is unbearable! Measures should be taken and we hope that this images will reach to international mass-media to show how animals and people are treated!
