An abundance of monsoon moisture continues to stream into Colorado, while a series of weak upper level disturbances push over the state. This will set the stage for several rounds of showers and thunderstorms through the week, with slow moving storms and locally heavy rain likely. This will elevate the flood and flash flood threat for eastern Colorado, especially for the burn scars. Area rivers will likely run high at times this week due to the widespread heavy rain, with some minor flooding possible in some areas.
