Unsettled weather will spread across the state over the next several days, as monsoon moisture increases across the state and a series of weak upper level disturbances push across Colorado. This will bring widespread shower and thunderstorm activity to much of the region, with heavy rain possible over most locations. This will bring an elevated flood and flash flood threat to eastern Colorado through the period, especially for the burn scars. Area rivers will likely run high again, with some minor flooding possible in some areas. Please visit our web page for the latest watches, warnings or advisories at weather.gov/pub. High temperatures will be noticeably cooler through mid week, with highs generally in the 70s to mid 80s across most locations. (Please visit http://weather.gov/pub for more information.)
