Yesterday, July 25, #Siberian #Husky #Rescue of #FL took in Charla, a young, red and white female Husky with amber eyes. Unfortunately, during the transport to safety, we discovered that she was ill and the transport was stopped. I was present on this part of the transport, and we took her to a vet and emergency care for immediate treatment. Charla is now on antibiotics and fluids at an emergency clinic for 24 hour care. Blood work, tests, and x-rays have been performed in order to get a diagnosis. SHRF will continue to work with the vet to ensure she has the care she needs to get her healthy. In the meantime, the hospital and vet bills are starting to add up.
