A mostly dry and hot airmass will remain in place over eastern Colorado through mid week, with temperatures warming above 100 degrees during the afternoon across the southeast plains. Enough moisture will remain in place for isolated to scattered late day showers and thunderstorms, mainly in and near the mountains, with gusty winds but little rain possible near any showers or thunderstorms that may develop over the eastern plains. Highs will warm into the 90s to low 100's across the eastern plains and 80s across the high country. (Please visit http://weather.gov/pub for more information.)
