A drier weather pattern will begin spreading across eastern Colorado today, though enough moisture will remain in place for isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly over the mountains. Heavy rain will still be possible with the stronger thunderstorms, with an flash flood threat continuing over the burn scars. Temperatures will remain cool over most locations today, but a quick warm up will then take place into the upcoming weekend, as temperatures return to above average. Highs will only warm into 60s and 70s over most locations today. (Please visit http://weather.gov/pub for more information.)
