A moist and unstable airmass will remain in place over eastern Colorado today, with yet another round of showers and thunderstorms expected across the region, with a few of these storms possibly becoming severe over the southeast plains this afternoon and evening. Locally heavy rain will once again threaten the area, with an elevated threat for flash flooding continuing, especially over the burn scars. Area temperatures will remain below average across the eastern plains and near to slightly below average over the high country, as highs top out in the 60s to low 80s.
