An active weather pattern will spread across eastern Colorado into the middle of next week, with a chance for showers and thunderstorms developing over the region each day. Locally heavy rain will be possible with these storms, with an elevated threat for flooding and flash flooding developing, especially over the burn scars. Area temperatures will cool back to well below average over most locations, with highs on Sunday only warming into the 70s and 80s across the eastern plains and 60s and 70s over the high country.
