Expect another day of hot weather across eastern Colorado. Slightly cooler air will move into the state this weekend thanks to a weak cold front will move across the region early Saturday. Today, expect isolated to widely scattered showers and thunderstorms, with the best chances remaining in and near the mountains. Moisture will increase area wide behind the cold front this weekend and remain through early next week. This will lead to a better chance for precipitation developing over most areas. The threat for heavy rain will also increase, with an elevated flash flooding threat expected near the burn scars. Temperatures will warm into the 90s to around 100 over the eastern plains today, with 70s and 80s expected over the high country including the Pikes Peak region.
