Another day of hot weather is in store across eastern Colorado, before slightly cooler air begins working back across the state during the upcoming weekend, as a weak cold front pushes across the region late Friday night into Saturday morning. Enough moisture will remain in place over the area on Friday to bring isolated to widely scattered showers and thunderstorms to the region, with the best chances remaining in and near the mountains. Moisture will increase area wide behind the cold front through early next week, with a slightly better chance for precipitation developing over most areas. Area temperatures will warm into the 90s to around 100 over the eastern plains on Friday, with 70s and 80s expected over the high country including the Pikes Peak region.
